2. Making a Contract With Us
2.1 When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
2.2 In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this and there will be no contract between us unless we subsequently agree to one.
2.3 We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on this website. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods.
2.4 Purchases will not include any of the pictured accessories, unless otherwise stated in the listing
2.5 Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.
2.6 This contract is covered by English law.
3. How to Place an Order
3.1 You can use our website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it to your basket. Items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time.
3.2 In most cases UK postage will be free of charge, and any shipping costs will be shown prior to you placing your order.
3.3 You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed with us prior to the sale.
3.4 We use secure payment facilities for online purchases. You can pay for your order by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and most debit cards, or using your PayPal account.
3.5 Promotional prices only apply during the period stated.
3.6 All prices quoted on our website are in UK pounds (or EURO if you are ordering to one of the Eurozone countries) and include Value Added Tax at the current rate.
3.7 Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not always be possible but we will work with you to resolve any issues.
4. Delivery and Carriage Charges
4.1 Goods will normally be dispatched from our studio within 1-2 working days.
4.2 We will normally deliver goods to mainland UK within 2-5 working days of dispatch.
4.3 In the case of large orders, your order may arrive in more than one delivery.
4.4 We can deliver anywhere in mainland Great Britain and Republic of Ireland, and the rest of the world where Royal Mail or Hermes services are available. If you require shipping anywhere with known delivery issues, please contact us prior to ordering to arrange this.
4.5 We will deliver the goods to the premises you specify on your order. You must be at home to accept delivery of your order. We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the goods unattended.
4.6 If you are unable to take delivery of the goods they will usually be taken back to the couriers’ depot for collection or re-delivery. It is your responsibility to arrange a re-delivery.
4.7 If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you, we reserve the right to pass on any extra charges incurred for redirecting your delivery.
4.8 Please check the goods on delivery – any goods found to be missing or damaged should be notified to ourselves as soon as possible.
4.9 If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly.
4.10 Sometimes, for reasons beyond our control we may be prevented from delivering your goods as planned. These might include things such as accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage or the default of our suppliers. We will try to put things right as soon as possible however we can’t be responsible where this causes a delay or failure in delivering your goods.
4.11 Time is not the essence of the contract unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by a Director of the Company.
5. Cancellation and Return
5.1 This policy does not apply to goods ordered by businesses, which are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations, or the following goods, which are exempt from the right to cancel:
Any items which have been personalised or modified to your specification.
5.2 You can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail us. We are unable to accept cancellations by phone.
5.3 If you cancel, you must return the goods within 14 days, complete with the original packaging to us, at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.
5.4 If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
5.5 We will refund all monies paid to us by you including any postage / carriage within 30 days, less any costs due under this contract.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
6. Faulty Goods / Guarantee
6.1 If there is a problem with the goods, please contact us. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.
6.2 Vintage and antique items come with 14-day warranty/guarantee and cannot have extended guarantee due to their aged and pre-owned nature. Damage to the goods due to accident, neglect or misuse is not covered by this warranty.
6.3 In the case of ‘new’ vintage-inspired items, manufacturer’s or maker’s warranty is provided in addition to the rights that the law says you have as a consumer and accordingly, your statutory rights are not affected.
6.4 If an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. Replacement goods will not be dispatched until either a indicative digital image is supplied by the customer, or the original goods have been received at our warehouse and checked.
6.5 We will replace defective goods free of charge, at our discretion, providing that you have returned to us any faulty goods upon request.
6.6 If an item is no longer available we will contact you immediately, and be happy to offer you an alternative. Even though our liability will be to replace the faulty goods, with one-off items we are unable to guarantee an exact match. In this instance you will have the option of a full refund or store credit.
6.7 Where we replace faulty goods you are responsible for their disposal if they have not previously been returned to us.
6.8 We are unable to guarantee and exact colour-match in our photographs due to the nature of photography, monitors, ambient lighting etc.
7.1 The products sold on this website have been sterilised and prepared to comply with all relevant UK legislation. We cannot warrant or represent that they comply with any legal requirement outside the UK.
7.2 We do not accept liability for any consequential loss of profit or indirect losses.
